Surah Waqiah with English Translation

Surah Al-Waqi’ah (Arabic: سورة الواقعة), the 56th chapter of the Quran, is a profound Meccan revelation that vividly describes the Day of Judgment (Yawm al-Qiyamah). Its name, “The Inevitable Event,” underscores the certainty of this divine reckoning.

Revered for its themes of accountability, divine power, and the afterlife, this Surah is often recited by Muslims seeking spiritual reflection and blessings.

Many also believe in its virtues, such as protection from poverty, though scholars note that specific Hadiths on this are considered weak. Regardless, its timeless message remains a cornerstone of Islamic eschatology.
